The transformation of the Diplomatura in Tourism in the Degree in Tourism answers to the process of construction of the European Space of Top Education (EEES) begun with the Declaration of Bologna of 1999, which includes in its aims the adoption of a flexible understandable and comparable system of qualifications, which promotes better opportunities of work for the students and a major international competitiveness of the European system of top education.
The Degree in Tourism gathers in its study plan the fundamental contents of diverse disciplines: the economy, the geography, the languages, the company, the law and the computer science among others, in addition introduces innovative aspects in the academic area relative to the programming, execution and evaluation of the teaching, and foments between among the students the mobility, the acquisition of attitudes as the initiative, the teamwork or the critical capacity.
In this context, MEDITERRANI has an internal Plan of Quality certified according to the norm JOINS IN ISO 9001:2000 that has as aim stimulate a culture of the quality and constant improvement that allows us to continue being the center of Tourism of reference in the academic university excellence of Barcelona.

PROFILE OF THE STUDENT OF DEGREE IN TOURISM
The studies of tourism have a multidisciplinary character opened for very diverse profiles. Because of it they are directed for students been interested in the world of the company, of the culture, of the territory, of the interpersonal communications, the languages or the applications of the new technologies, among others. The students of tourism have to be persons with initiative, creativity and interested in some of the diverse areas of the tourist sector.
